The most common question ...

We pronounce QEJA as "kay-jah". It is an acronym for the founding family siblings - Quincey, Erin, Joshua, and Audrey. It so happens to be in birth order, too!

The Socks

Our socks are made in Italy - home to great food, quality clothes, and epic cycling routes!

The specific composition of each sock can be found on the product page. Our socks are made from a variety of thoughtful materials, including Biofil Organic cotton, Q-SKIN and Q-CYCLE polyamides, recycled polyester, and elastane.

We use organic cotton in many of our socks, which is a great material for sportswear. It wicks moisture, dries quickly, is naturally anti-microbial (i.e. no stink!), and feels soft against the skin. Compared to wool, it is softer, more affordable, and dries quicker.

All QEJA sock styles are unisex. Please refer to our sizing guide, found on our home page and each product page, to find your perfect fit.

QEJA socks are designed as a multi-sport, active lifestyle sock. They are great for any activity where you'd normally wear socks - walking, running, cycling, tennis, pickleball, golf, hiking*, snow sports**, hitting the gym, in dress shoes, at the office, or even just lounging at home.

We wear ours all the time, for sports and ‘professional’ activities (yes, to the office and during our commute there!) They also make great socks for air travel, providing some compression when sized appropriately.

*For hiking, depending on how your hiking boots fit our socks may be too thin and leave too much room inside your boots. Many hikers love to layer QEJA socks with a thicker sock on the outer layer, providing a super soft, anti-microbial "second skin" that helps protect feet from blisters and hot spots.

**In winter months or activities with cold exposure, you may find you want a warmer sock. However, our Ski Socks in properly fitted ski boots are warm, very comfortable, and our most popular product!

Our socks are very durable and get softer with every wash and wear. Feel free to wash and dry as you prefer.

However, we generally recommend you wash your socks on cold and tumble dry on low or line dry. These steps help reduce household energy use, minimize breakdown of the sock materials (especially elastane), and are generally good laundry habits that are gentler on the Planet and your clothing.
